Blood & Eye Exam Requirements
(REQUIRED) Blood Work: $89 every six (6) months. This includes an HIV Panel, Hepatitis B Surface Antigens, and Hepatitis C Antibody. We recommend Request a Test as they are familiar with the proper format required for NCBA approval. You can also call them at 888-732-2348. If you do not get these exact tests, your blood work will not be accepted and you cannot compete. Please make sure you provide your doctor with proper authorization to fax (fx number listed below) the results to the NC Boxing Commission. Results must be approved a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to an event in order to be selected for competition. Please make sure you get the correct tests completed, and then sent to, and approved by, the NC Boxing Commission in a timely manner.
(REQUIRED) Dilated Eye Exam: required every one (1) Year. Can be done at Target or Walmart. The NCBA requires a specific form to be complete by your eye doctor. You can download and print the form here – NCBCEyeForm. Once completed, be sure to fax the form to the fax number listed below.
(NOT REQUIRED UNLESS TOLD OTHERWISE) Physical: $25 + per year. You must use the required NCBA forms. This can be done through your regular doctor or you can visit an approved minute clinic in your area.
It is the responsibility of the fighter to make sure you have current medical information on file with the NCBA. If you believe you already have this information on file with them, it is your responsibility to make sure it is still valid for the date of the event for which you intend to participate.
Competitors 40 or older – Triangle Kickboxing Promotions encourages people of all ages to compete in the sport of kickboxing. If you are a competitor that is 40 or older, the State of North Carolina may require additional medical tests to be performed in order to qualify for competition. These tests are directed on a case-by-case basis by the NCBA. Once your information is submitted to the NCBA, they will inform us if and which tests need to be performed in order to qualify for competition. If you have any questions about this matter, please contact the NCBA.

Fighter Withdrawing Process
A lot of time, work, and money goes into producing our kickboxing events. Inevitably, there is someone that gets hurt while training for a fight – it happens! If you get injured, it is you and/or your coaches responsibility to contact us right away to make us aware of the situation. If you have to pull out of the fight because of your injury, we ask that you supply us with a doctors report and any supporting medical information showing us your injury. Failure to provide this information will prevent you from being considered for any future events.
If you received any tickets for presale, we expect you to overnight them to us within 24 hours of your withdrawal. You are required to send the tickets back to us via certified US mail at your expense. If you send your tickets back using standard mail and they get lost during delivery, you will be held liable for the full value of each ticket. And, you will be suspended indefinitely from competing in the State of NC until we receive the full value of the tickets.
If you decide to pull out of a fight two (2) weeks before show time and do not have a serious medical issue that prevents you from competing, you will not be considered for future events.
Please do not register for an event if you are not 100% sure you will compete!
